Mitten Tree – It’s time to bring in mittens, gloves, socks, and scarves to place on the Christmas tree outside the main sanctuary doors beginning November 3rd through November 24th. The items will be taken to Leapin’ Outreach in December and given to those who are in need. It may not be cold while you are reading this, but as we all know, winter comes and many children do not have mittens, gloves, socks, and scarves to keep them warm. If you have any questions, please call the church office.
Free Community Breakfast will be held again on Saturday, November 23rd, from 8:30 – 10:30 a.m. This community outreach is sponsored by the Men’s Prayer Breakfast group and the UWIF’s S.K.I. Group. This breakfast is free and open to all (donations will be accepted). This will be a wonderful opportunity to get involved and support this effort to reach out into our community and build relationships with our neighbors and be fulfilled in sharing the love and grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Come one, come all to help, support or just have breakfast and fellowship. If you have questions, please contact Bill Bess at 740-360-3965. Hope to see you there.
We will collect for the Salvation Army Food Pantry on Sunday, November 24th. Suggested donations: Thanksgiving/Christmas Fixins’. Put your donations in the shopping cart in the back of the sanctuary.
Noisy Collection will be on Sunday, November 24th, for the Neighborhood Supper Fund.
Laundry Love Ministry – Monday, November 25th, at 4:30 p.m. at the Southdown Cleaning Village, 355 S. Main Street.
Peanut Butter and Jelly Food Drive – If you would like to continue supporting this mission, please drop off your donations in the Church kitchen. Then, they will be taken to their drop off location.
